I am thrilled to share that I, along with Level Osteopathy, have been invited to be a guest
speaker at several upcoming events, both in-person and online.
I am particularly excited to announce a complimentary seminar titled "Health & Wealth," which will take place on October 22 at 6:00 PM. This event is organized by Chartwell and supported by a fantastic group of hosts, including Royal LePage, The Rise Team, Chartwell Oakville
Retirement Residence, and IG Wealth Management.
Join us for an insightful evening with Stefan Cvijetan, Luigi Reale, and Stephanie Bruck as we
explore the crucial relationship between Social Determinants of Health and finance. Together,
we will discuss how to pave the way for long-term wellness and financial stability, ensuring that
you can thrive in all aspects of life.
We look forward to seeing you there!
On October 30th, we are honoured to be the featured speaker at a virtual networking event
hosted on Zoom. This gathering will connect an incredible array of professionals,
entrepreneurs, and business owners!
Typically, featured speakers focus on various aspects of their businesses, but during my
presentation on October 30th, I will be sharing a 9-minute case study that delves into visceral
treatment. I will provide a detailed step-by-step approach to addressing issues likewater
retention and bloating in a patient, ultimately leading to weight loss and improved digestive
function.
If you're interested in attending the meeting, sharing more about yourself and your business, or
learning about classical osteopathy, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me!
On December 22 at 7:00pm, we will be joining the fibromyalgia support network for a Zoom
lecture focused on contemporary treatment approaches and recent discoveries related to this
distinctive condition.
Fibromyalgia has been one of our earliest treatment areas since our student days, and over the Years, we have dedicated ourselves to helping individuals manage their symptoms and
improve their health outcomes. We are thrilled to engage with such a vibrant community during
this online event.
But what is Fibromyalgia?
Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain, fatigue,
sleep disturbances, and cognitive difficulties, often referred to as "fibro fog." The exact cause
of fibromyalgia is not fully understood, but it is believed to involve a combination of genetic,
environmental, and psychological factors, as well as abnormalities in how the brain and spinal
cord process pain signals.
Common symptoms of fibromyalgia include:
- Widespread pain throughout the body.
- Fatigue and low energy levels.
- Sleep disturbances, such as difficulty falling or staying asleep.
- Cognitive issues, including problems with memory and concentration.
- Tender points or areas of sensitivity across the body.
- Other symptoms may include headaches, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and mood disorders like anxiety and depression.
Fibromyalgia is often diagnosed based on patient-reported symptoms and a physical exam, as
there are no specific laboratory tests to confirm the condition. Treatment typically focuses on
managing symptoms and may include medications (such as pain relievers, antidepressants,
and anticonvulsants), physical therapy, exercise, stress management techniques, and lifestyle
changes.
Living with fibromyalgia can be challenging, but many people find ways to manage their
symptoms and improve their quality of life through a comprehensive treatment approach.
Of this and more will be discussed!
More details to follow!
Have a wonderful week!
